Students learn riding skills based on centered riding technique, horse care, safety, responsibility and riding styles in a fun and energetic environment. All of our equestrian instruction is cumulative and applicable to each specific student. Our campers are in groups of like minded individuals throughout the day, however, on the horse, their time and experiences are very much their own. Based on riding experience and ability, students are encouraged to explore different styles of riding, including Hunter Pleasure (English), Western Pleasure, and Baby Green Jumpers.
This is a working camp: Campers are expected to participate in the daily chores and activities involved in horse care and responsibility. We instill a positive work ethic and sense of responsibility and accountability in our young riders that provides a direct gain in self esteem and confidence in overcoming obstacles, mastering communication skills and developing a great sense of teamwork. Our expectations are very reasonable and fair, and there are consequences for non- motivated individuals.
For parents with scheduling conflicts: we are pleased to arrange extended camper care and supervision after the scheduled hours of camp who attend a full day.*
This program breaks up tuition costs for half day, full day, and apprentice camps into three monthly payments. One third is due each month, beginning in March, and the balance must be paid by 12:00pm Apr. 30th, 2010.
Discounts and refunds are NOT available for this program. Mini camp tuition is not eligible for a payment plan.
